Customer Review: What a blast!
Summary: 5 Stars
I was a little skeptical about buying this (especially since we knew ZERO about monster trucks), but our 5-year-old asked to go to Monster Jam for his birthday, so we thought we'd "prepare" a little via this game. At first it seemed sort of difficult (we were used to racing MarioKart but the races here were much faster), so we stayed in the stadium game--but you know what? Just smashing into things was pretty fun. Eventually, the kids got the hang of driving the monster trucks and began playing all the games and doing tricks and stuff. Then new trucks started unlocking, which they absolutely love. Another thing that's kind of cool about this game is that eventually the announcers begin to narrate what's happening on the screen, which can be hilarious. And we definitely learned all the names of the trucks and whatnot, which was our goal. Honestly, this is one of the most fun wii games we've had to date.
