When I first got this game home and tried it out I was very unhappy becasue of the lag time with the wireless controller, but I tried it with another (also wireless) controller and the lag time was almost gone, so finally I could "strum" with the beat. Now I just always use my controller that came with the wii in the guitar. I chose world tour because it has all the best songs, and now I love the game!Customer Review: Guitar Hero World Tour

I received the item in a reasonable amount of time and for a good price. Unfortunately, although the package seemed unharmed, the product inside was not. There was a broken T-bracket on the left leg, The left Cymbol does not work and to make things even worse the left drumstick holder broke off within 1 day...
I am in the process of trying to rectify the problem, but so far I have not received any correspondence to my first inquiry to Activision, it is now almost 2 weeks.
So far, I am very disappointed, nor would I buy another Activision product. I am also deterred from buying this type of item online ever again, due to the complexity of trying to rectify this issue.

This was my almost-last-minute attempt to get a decent Christmas gift for my husband. It was shipped fast, and arrived in plenty of time.
Christmas night, we had a blast. I have no musical talent whatsoever, but even I can belt out the vocals, and my kids are great on guitar and drums. Me signing Mars Volta is a little scary, but . . .
All-in-all, we had a lot of fun with this, although I wish I'd know beforehand that we needed a third controller - I would have bought one at the same time.

I bought this for the instruments and not the game itself as we wanted instruments for Lego Rock band. The drums and guitar are completely compatible and the kids have enjoyed it every day since Christmas. The only drawback seems that the mic cannot simply be plugged into the wii, but the kids have figured out how to connect it to the wiimote so that it works too.
