Video Game Reviews of Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams CollectionCustomer Review: The one to get for you Wii pinball wizards Summary: 4 StarsCrave did an excellent job with this thoughtful pinball simulation. I hadn't played some of these tables before. The ball and table physics are outstanding and the reproductions are spot on. Take advantage of the table instructions feature. It's very handy to learn all the features of each table before you play it. I learned a number of facts I'd never knew before about some of my favorites like Space Shuttle, Black Knight.
If you've ever enjoyed a well designed pinball game, you will find plenty to amuse here. The table free play unlock goals keep things interesting while you get your pinball groove on and multiplayer features are included for that occasional party situation. All in all a great value.
Customer Review: Wii version missing some games from the xBox version! Summary: 2 StarsThe Wii, Playstation and PSP versions of this title have less tables than the xBox360 version, including the classic "medieval madness" game. It seems unfair to include less games under the same title than on other platforms, therefore I cannot recommend this product.
Customer Review: Great pinball game but PS3 version has more tables Summary: 4 StarsFirst, I love this game and play it quite a lot. I would've given it five stars, but took away one because the PS3 version of the same title contains 3 extra tables - No Good Gofers, Medieval Madness and Tales of the Arabian Nights. The game is so good I'm considering getting the PS3 version too just to play the additional tables. It's a lot of fun to play and can be very addictive. Even on the Wii the graphics are quite realistic. Combine this with natural controls and it's just like playing an actual pinball table. Somehow they've even managed to make each table feel different, with some tables faster-paced than others. Playing requires the nunchuck attachment and you can even nudge the table by shaking the controller and nunchuck (careful not to tilt though).
Each of the tables included have their own "goals" to achieve - whether it's to get a certain minimum score, get a certain bonus, or trigger multi-ball. Once you complete these goals, you then have "wizard goals" to achieve on the table. I've spent hours just trying to achieve these goals and getting high scores. Some of the tables are "locked" at the beginning so you need to use credits to play them. Credits are earned by achieving goals mostly. When you achieve all the goals on a given table or earn 100 credits, you can unlock one of the tables. Besides playing in the arcade with these goals, there's also the challenge mode where you need to get certain scores on a series of tables.
Customer Review: Good PinBall Game Summary: 4 StarsPinBall Hall Of Fame, The Williams Collection, is a good game with several tables to choose from, i personally think the best feature of this game , is the way you only have to pull back the joy stick and release it on the nun-chuck , to shoot the ball, but my favorite Pinball Game that i enjoy the Most, is Dream PinBall 3D, by South Peak Games, I Just "Love" this game, and its more fun and interesting than PinBall Hall Of Fame, the Williams Collection, but you definitely can't go wrong with either game!
Customer Review: Old school FUN! Summary: 4 StarsIf you liked pinball as a kid you'll love this game. Many of your favorite pinball games, and a few you might not have played. I played alot of pinball growing up, and this is as close to the real thing as your going to get. Wii system is easy to control with this game. Give it a try...
