Video Game Reviews of Hannah Montana: Spotlight World TourCustomer Review: Hannah Montana Summary: 5 StarsWow, what fun! The girls loves this. It's not only Hannah Montana, but there's exercise involved and the girls don't even realize it. With all the moving and dancing, it's great!
Customer Review: Great Wii Game for Girls! Summary: 5 StarsMy 6 yo loves Hannah Montana so when she saw this game, she had to try it out. We rented it first to make sure she could play it and actually enjoyed it. She loves it! I can barely get her to sit still in her chair to finish dinner or homework but she gets into this game.
The premise is that Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus is traveling around the world for her world tour. In each city you learn new dance moves that you do using the Wii remote and nunchuk and then you perform to one of her songs. During the performance you receive a star rating and points based on your number of fans. You also get shopping points. Using the points you get to shop in each city for clothes, shoes and sunglasses. You can change her outfits over and over before or after each performance. In the shopping area there are always a few extra activities like a photo shoot and an autograph signing. It took a bit of practice to figure out the guitar playing and it was a little difficult for my daughter (I figured it out and really enjoy it though).
Finally, I have to say you get a great workout from this. I play it and get a little sweaty during a performance and I'm only using the first level of play (there are 3 levels of performance that get increasingly more difficult). Also, I saw that there is a dance party/multiplayer portion of the game but we have not tried that part out yet. All in all, this is a great game and we bought it after only one day of play. Yes, it is only a dancing game but I'm willing to bet the next Hannah Montana title will add singing. *It even makes my daughter forget to ask for dessert after dinner because she is having so much fun dancing.
Customer Review: it is entertaining, but not forever Summary: 3 Starsthis game is one of those, "developed to sell the name" type games. Hannah Montana name that is. It lets you shop, hear songs, and 'dance' (meaning you move the wiimote in synch with the screen icons). The kids like it well enough for the gold box price ($29.99 with s/h) so I don't feel totally ripped off, but no way would I pay full price for it. It certainly will not last beyond a few days of initial play, then just here and there beyond that. Worth getting if you're girl loves HM, but get a sale or wait it out!
Customer Review: Watch out for the brothers! Summary: 5 StarsI bought this for my 8 year old daughter since she is a big fan of Hannah Montana and she loves to sing and dance. This game is her favorite! The only problem is that her brother won't stop playing with it. While this game is bought mostly for girls, beware, boys love it too (although hard pressed to admit it)!
Customer Review: Great game for a houseful of girls!!!!! Summary: 5 StarsI bought this game for my daughters, ages 3, 9, and 12, as a surprise over school vacation. The girls played non-stop all week and had a ball!!! They caught on to all Hannah's moves quickly with the practice sessions, and loved shopping in Paris...even my 3-yr-old loved playing this game. I even tried it!!! There is only one problem with this game....be prepared to walk around singing Hannah Montana songs all the time!!! My personal fav....My Old Blue Jeans !!!!! Even Dad is singing!!
If you have tween girls that love Hannah, you need this game!! :)
