Customer Review: The best golf game I've played to date

I really like this game. The motion plus is really cool-- you really can work the ball left and right like you would a real draw and fade. I LOVE the putting! It's as close to the real feel of putting as I've seen in any video game. There's lots of good to say and not much bad I can say. I even like that the computer generated opponents are good! They'll give you a pretty good match and definitely beat you if you aren't playing well. That's really how it should be! I haven't tried any of the online stuff yet, so i can't comment on it. The commentators bug me. I turn them off with the fast play setting every time. I don't like that they announce the result of your shot before you know the result. for example, if your shot is headed towards the rough, they'll announce it while your ball is still in flight. the crowd response is better than previous versions, but still inconsistent and could use some tweaking. but again, these are minor annoyances. the main idea of the game is to enjoy playing competitive video golf and this game does it. definitely worth it and definitely needs to be played with motion plus!Customer Review: Not so much...

The Wii Plus addition to tiger wood 10, doesn't add enough to the game to warrant a new purchase. Despite the claims you will hear, you still only have 3 basic swings: you either swing at 100% at 15% or 50%. The abililty to rotate you club head through the swing works well though.
The lack of other titles that support the wii plus also put a damper on this purchase.

This game works VERY well. Even for non-golfers the game is a lot of fun.
With the Wii motion+ your swing is almost 1 to 1. For those who are beignners or non-golfers, the stroke assist that shows where your ball will go will quickly have you competing with the non-player character golf masters in the game.

I love this game. Great graphics. Easy to use controls. Does not have 30 minutes of surveys and crap. Great all around game. Get it.
