Customer Review: THE ONLY GAMES THAT COUNT!!!!
Summary: 5 Stars
Super Mario baby! I am a die hard fan of the original NES, and for years I kept mine in great condition, and aquired hoardes of games on the cheap after they went out of fashion. Then, one day, this chick had a mental fit on me and flung my NES against a wall and DETROYED it!!! AHHHHH!!!! To this day I have not gotten a new one, even though I have all of those games. One of these days.
My brother though, last year, for my birthday, gave me our old SNES system, which he had stored in his closet for a number of years. I wasn't as much a fan of the SNES system, and most of the titles that he gave me were weird assed RPG titles, that I am completely clueless with (...needless to say I fell off the video game train years ago...) However, since I had been playing it with my five year old son, I have been resurged into an old addiction for Super Mario Bros. titles, beggining with Super Mario World, and now recently only worsened by the purchase of Mario All-Stars at a flea market. Mainly due to Super Mario Bros. 3, which has a frightening and sick hold on me.
What started out as good fun with me and the kid, quickly turned into a delirium of koopa shells and warp whistles. I spent five solid hours getting through the Ice World, only to have babys momma crash the F%*&*^IN system just seconds before I beat the air ship... I nearly lost all control!!! Do you remember those incidences when you were younger, and you'd get so close, and then some little critter would nab you from behind,,, or your finger would slip and you'd fall into a hole,,, and then you'd FREAK!!!???? Well, that doesn't change with age. These games, while hillarious, and a blast to play, still have the same emotional impact as they did back then. I can't say that for many others... long live the Mario Bros.!
