Video Game Reviews of Mercury Meltdown: Revolution

Customer Review: Gets boring after a while
Summary: 3 Stars

I bought this game originally because I couldnt find Marble Mania anywhere and heard this is similar. Although it is a similar concept, it is much different. This one give you a mercury blob that you have to move through color changers in order to move on. After a few levels, I was bored. It would be good for kids trying to learn what colors to mix in order to get a different color.

Customer Review: Great Game!
Summary: 4 Stars

I like this game - it is simple yet complex.

Even so, sometimes it's hard to figure out exactly what I am suppose to do to finish the level - but that's ok. It's a game that I can keep around for awhile and go back to now and again when I'm up for it. You won't be finishing this game in 2 hours and it'll definitely teach you some patience.

Customer Review: Frustratingly addictive!
Summary: 4 Stars

This is not a game for the impatient! I have had this for about a week now and haven't made it past level 7. You have to be very precise and controlled in the movements, plus avoid certain things that can hurt your performance in the game. If you just try to rush through everything, you may not see a corner, or a slick surface that you will slide right off of. There is a bit of strategy to this game. Also, I'm not sure how it would be for a color blind person, but a major part of the game is splitting, painting, and recombining sections of your blob to completely change its color to match the color on the exit pad of that level. If you can't see certain colors, you may not know what you need to do to make the right color. Not really sure if that would be a problem or not. Basically for me though, this is a frustratingly addictive game where you don't want to give up, but get extremely annoyed when after several attempts, you can't beat the level - especially when you're so close to the end and you lose right before hitting the finish.

Customer Review: Unobvious fun with frustrating parts
Summary: 4 Stars

This is more fun than you might think from reading a description of the game. If you are looking for non-violent games, this will fit the bill. If you are looking for no profanity games, it is up to you to avoid cursing when you mess up.

There are some frustrating puzzles where it isn't clear how to get to the end even after you study it for awhile. We gave up on a few. And what is it with those gravity wells?

Customer Review: Fun Game for the Wii!
Summary: 5 Stars

This game is a motion sensor game. You maneuver the mercury which starts out silver to tilt and turn thru the levels, sometimes you need to be a different color to complete the level. It is challenging and lots of fun for all ages.
