Video Game Reviews of Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party BundleCustomer Review: A Longtime DDR Fan Summary: 2 StarsI got this for Christmas and was thrilled. Before anything, we had our Wii set up and I was ready for dancing.
My first observation upon beginning game play was that I had to turn off the pesky hand movements part of the game. They were really just taking away from the all around experience.
Then, I saw the song list and was pretty disappointed. Some of the tracks were really fun..but it seemed mostly to comprise of radio songs with a techno twist.
The dances seemed a lot easier and well..it's just not a classic DDR game.
After playing for about a month, unlocking some of the better songs, my final say on the game is that looking at it as a game..seperated from it's predecessors, it's alright.
Looking at a long history of amazing DDR games though..this is a big let down.
Perhaps if we could move back to some of the more "DDR like" songs the game would be better.
Customer Review: So much fun Summary: 5 StarsI bought it for myself, but we are also using it at the Physical Therapy Clinic where I work. (I brought into work to show my co-workers) Who knew PT could be so much fun? To challenge our injured atheletes to regain balance and flexibility, we are finding the DDR to be fabulous! It inspires our therapists to be more creative and provides enough levels so even the fittest among them have to work at a good score.
Customer Review: I want to dance all night! Summary: 5 StarsThis is the first DDR game I purchased. I got it because I thought it would be good exercise as well as a lot of fun. It did not disappoint. It took me a while to get up to actually doing well and incorporating the hand motions but it was fun doing it. I get a work out from it as well.
Customer Review: Dance Summary: 5 StarsWow what a workout!!! This is fun, I have to set a timer so I do not play it all night long. EXCELLENT!!!
Customer Review: Good music, good fun Summary: 4 StarsThis game is lots of fun. The music is catchy, and a beginner can pick up on the steps easily enough. I have been using it in workout mode, and my biggest complaint is the pause between each song. It would be more efficient it the songs played back-to-back without giving you a score in between each one.
