Wii rockband is a lot of fun and great for all levels of gaming experience even the ones who hardly do video games like me. I like how the game can involve multiple people and how it creates teamwork as you play gigs, tour, and earn money. Ok, so I will start out by saying I am not a "fanboy" of either GH or rock band. I went into both unbiased! I used to have GH 3 and recently wanted a full band kit to play with my wife, kid, and friends so I read a lot of reviews on both GH:WT and Rock Band 2 to decide which one to go with. I was nervous going with GH:WT because of all the bad things said about the drum set and problems they are having. But, in the end I went with the GH:WT kit because you can use the instrument on rock band 2(which does work fine) so I decide to get the GH:WT kit and rock band 2(game only) at best buy and I purchased their extended waranty so if I did encounter any problems I could just return it in store. I have been palying GH:WT for about a month now and Rock Band 2 for about a week. With that being said, I am totally unimpressed with rock band 2! The music in both games is great! But, in the long run, compared to GH:WT, rock band 2's character customization and grafix are weak! I found that the fret board and style of the notes(size & when you strum them) on rock band 2 to be garbage! Another thing that got on my nerves is that in rock band 2 you end up playing the same songs over and over at different venues in tour mode. I do like having the "no fail" option in rock band 2 for my kid and friends that suck plus I have my wii connected online and rock band 2 has many more songs avaiable for download. In the end, I feel that GH:WT is the better route to go(plus METALLIC out soon...SWEET) and just get the rock band 2 game. Hope this review helps and rock on! My family enjoys this game and makes for hours of fun. Comes with the microphone, one guitar, and a drum set. A lot of the songs are familiar and the children will also learn to like those songs. Great way to introduce children to rock as well. Playing the drums are fun, almost pretty close to playing the real thing. The microphone has difficulty settings to change. The guitar is also fun and easy to use. The only thing to make it better would be online play. Customer Review: An absolute blast to play

Song selection is pretty damn good too. Not GREAT, but pretty damn good.
