The kindest thing I can say about this Nintendo Wii replacement power supply is you get what you pay for. What you get matches the description but it is a very poor quality substitution for a genuine Nintendo power supply. My advice to those considering this is spend the extra money and get your replacement power supply directly from Nintendo. This what I did, and I was able to get refurbished one for about $15 + shipping.
The problem with this one is it is ridiculously lightweight and obviously a very cheap knockoff of the real thing. It caused a spark at the outlet when I plugged it in to the wall socket. Although I my tests with a multi-tester proved it was putting out the correct voltage, I was afraid to connect it to my Wii. I may be paranoid, but I would not risk it if I were you.
The good news is since it was fulfilled by Amazon and I had prime membership I was able to return it for a full refund. I am writing this to hopefully spare others from the trouble of having to return it.
