After properly connecting this component cable, the colors are clearly more defined and brighter. However, with all of my Wii games (sports and Beatles Rockband) the graphic detail does not appear in the high quality I've viewed on Xbox or other consoles. I've read that Wii is a bit behind the others in reproducing graphics, so with the component cable (normally always better than composite), you see jagged edges and squiggles where there needn't be any. So I'm not thrilled and am glad I only paid $14 for the cable.Customer Review: Does what it says - just not much of a difference

I love these cables. The picture improved a lot. Basically the cables allow you to view your Wii games in 480p instead of 480i. It might not seem like a big deal, but I was impressed with the difference. I have a 52 in. LCD, so the improvements really matter. Even if you don't think you care that much about picture quality, you will care a lot after replacing the standard cables with these. Be sure to change the Wii video settings to make it work.Customer Review: Great cables and great price

Most Wii's come with a standard RCA connection for audio and video hookup. I decided to chance the HD Link and wow!!! does it make a huge difference video-wise!! Huge difference in video quality. I don't have any surround sound capable games, so I can't speak for the audio as much. Great product for those of you who want the best quality picture/audio.
