Video Game Reviews of Active Life Outdoor Challenge

Customer Review: Surprisingly great workout, only one negative with mat
Summary: 4 Stars

I echo a lot of the positive feedback you've likely read here so I won't repeat it except to say I was pleasantly surprised at how much of a workout this gave me. I enjoy the other Wii fitness offerings and bought this one as a family game, not for fitness, so that was a bonus.

The only problem I've found so far is that when playing in multi-player you can have two people on one mat. (Not sure how you play with more than two people.) Two kids, like they show in the promo photos, works fine but one adult and a child doesn't, let alone two adults. Just not enough room to really get moving. My 12-yr-old son and I played tonight and kept bumping into each other during the pole jumping in multi-player mode. We then went to single player and just took turns. Other than that, this really is fun and some of it is pretty challenging.

Customer Review: Fun
Summary: 3 Stars

Fun game that can be enjoyed by the entire family, including kids of all ages.

Customer Review: The whole family loved this
Summary: 5 Stars

'Santa' brought this game for our 7 & 3 year old. The 3-year-old loves the mine shaft game and the mountain board game. The 7-year-old loves the mountain board and any of the run and jump games. We even got grandpa playing! We were all laughing and totally exhausted after a couple hours of playing. This is just awesome for indoor winter playtime.

Customer Review: A lot of fun, plus good exercise at the same time!
Summary: 5 Stars

I just got this for Christmas, so I obviously haven't used it much, but I feel like I got a good workout during the time I used it, and it was alot of fun. I feel like I discovered muscles I didn't know I had. On the Pipe Slide, where you sit on the mat and use your hands on the mat to steer, I could really feel my abdominal muscles. I stopped using it several minutes before I had intended to because I was getting tired. Loved the Mole Stomp, that was alot of fun. I didn't realize this wasn't wireless (I expected it to have a wireless signal, like the Wii Fit balance board), but the cord didn't turn out to be a problem. After about 45 minutes of trying various games, I was ready to take a break! The instructions for some of the games could be a bit clearer; I was a bit confused on some of them as to exactly what to do. All in all, though, a fun game that'll give you a good bit of exercise at the same time that you're having fun.

Customer Review: A family favrote game.
Summary: 5 Stars

I am six years old. My mom bought this as my Christmas gift and Animal Crossing as well.

Wii Outdoor Challenge is very fun to me so I gave it five stars. I love it. I earned a bronze crown. It was in beginner level. I love jumping rope.

I love mine cart adventure usually like mole stomper, sometimes speed roller, seesaw battler, and sometimes sprint challenge and mountain border, head-on hurdler, lake top trampoline, stone stepper, log leaper, conveyer runner, waterfall climber, timber trail, kayak attack, and pipe slider. I love this game very much.
