Customer Review: Fantastic Fun Game!

This is one of the best games that i have gotten yet. I am 14 and i received it two Christmas' ago and i am still playing it. The graphics, features and overall game is amazing. I would recommend this game to anyone! This would make an amazing gift, it's fun and a great way to pass the time. In this game you can farm, grow crops, raise animals, find a person to marry, have a family, decorate and upgrade your house, and the ultimate goal is to revive the mother tree. The possibilities are endless! So don't hesitate to buy this game.Customer Review: Great overall game!!!! (not many set backs!)

Well Ive played harvest moon games since the first game "harvest moon a wonderful life" came out for gamecube....so Ive seen many improvements and a few things that can still be changed! Ive always enjoyed the previous harvest moon games very much and have given almost every single one a five star rating! =)
Pros:
1.more animals that you can raise! also come in many different colors!
2.you can have more property to grow crops, more than one house (if you wish..not really neccessary though...), furniture and also many outfits to buy and wear! (dont need this either but its alot of FUN!!) =)
3.the graphics are adorable! (the game cube games are too!)
4. the bachelors are MUCH..I repeat MUCH better than the previous ones!! that is a big plus for us girls!! =D plus you have so many to choose from! and each has their own personality!!!
5.guys also have more choices when it comes to courting....but in the past natsume seemed to spend more time designing the girls then the bachelors!
6.you can have a child! (just like every other game but...) you get to acctually choose if its a girl or boy! when its older your child will help with farm work!!
7. you can also become your child after getting the journey rucksack!
8.the story to the game is much more detailed and thought out with little activities along the way!
9.making the rainbows also makes the game much more challengeing!(took me two years in the game to do all the rainbows!)
10. being able to take animals in as your pets is a new one! (but does take a while!)
11. you actually get married in a church! in the first harvest moon games you only
tell everyone your married! (hope they improve this feature even more!)
12.enough activities to keep you very busy!!
(all I can think off...add more in your reviews that I might have missed!)
Cons:
1.THE LOADING TIME!!!!! its never tooken that long! Its one of the reasons I cant play it as long as the gamecube harvest moon!
2. the stamina bar...this is a con and a pro....con because you cant do as much in ne day but pro because it makes it more challenging!
3.your animals seem to die much quicker then in previous harvest moon games! (I dont like this!)
4.the "Calvin glich!" I neer wanted to marry this guy but...for the people who do then its not really a great thing!!
5.the camera! moves in so many different directions! hope natsume will let us control the camera better in the next game!
6.your child will never look anything like the one you marry!will look only like you!(in the next game natsume fixes this problem!)
7.(only in my opinion!)Im not very big on how long the months are...because if your trying to get to spring and your at the very begining of winter then it will take FOREVER to get to spring!!
8. the pets take forever to get!!! and once you get them you can only pet them and take them for a walk!

This game is a really good addition to the previos harvest moon games still have a few things that could and should bee changed but all in all its a good start for being the first game for the nintendo wii!!!! =)

Love the game! However, it has a glitch that locks up the game on level ten in the mine. It does not allow you to progress. You start to hear a clue about fruit of the tree from Calvin, then the system freezes. My sister also has this game and the same thing happens on hers, so it isnt just a defect on my disc. Your only option is to power cycle the Wii. If you had not saved recently your progress is lost. And there is a story line that is unaccessible.Customer Review: Educational and Fun

This game is wonderful! I purchased it for my daughter who is now eight. You move to this island with nothing. You have to work odd jobs to make enough money to buy a farm. Once you have done that you plant your fields, raise animals, fish and lots more. It teaches children how to make money, save money, and responsibility for themselves and their property including their pets. If you don't take care of your animals properly they will die which can be upsetting but also a learning lesson. Quite fun! My daughter has an ostrich which she loves to ride to town or to the shop to buy medicine when an animal gets sick. Very fun the only thing I wish was different is the days are too short. There i so much to do that I haven't mentioned. My daughter loves to visit a money near her house and there is a natural pool of water where it recharges your energy level.
