Our family has truly enjoyed this game. It was a great buy for the money. It goes on forever so there is no boredem factor. Our kids are 8 and 13 and they play it almost every day. This looked really good to me as it was not a smash-em-up, knock-em-down game, and seemed more well-rounded (like Zoo Tycoon). After I convinced my 8 yr old son to try this, he spent 3 hours on it, and came back to me to say "It's boring". When asked why, he felt that swimming around was not enough action, and felt it could have been more "game like" with real tasks, not just taking stupid customers for site-seeing tours. He also says "Zoo Tycoon" beats this game any day of the week, because Zoo Tycoon allows you to control the action!Customer Review: Endless Ocean for WII

This is a very relaxing and informative game for WII. Not your high impact sport game you are use to. Graphics are so realistic, a really enjoyable game to play. It also has the most wonderful music. We love it, such a good change from the usual.

My daughter has always wanted to be a marine biologist, but we are landlocked and she gets very little experience in the ocean. This is by far no substitute, but she can't take her eyes off the game! She keeps running in my room to tell me what animal she just encountered and what she learned about it.
I had my doubts before I bought the game. So many people said it was boring, but if your child is interested in ocean organisms, they will love this game.
