My wife and I bought this charger to save money on batteries, since we have three people using the Wii every day. The thing works well for us, and our batteries haven't gone bad except for the one that I dropped. I dropped the battery on the floor and it won't work, which is not a problem for me since it's my fault. HOWEVER, I contacted the company from their own web site links and haven't received any response at all after several weeks. All I wanted to know was whether or not I could get a replacement battery for the induction charger since I couldn't find one online. They could have at least responded in some way. Since then, I've heard other people mention the same thing. I won't buy anything with this brand name on it again, but it won't matter because they already got my money and they sell enough to so many others that they don't have to care about one guy -- and they know it.
Description of Wii Charge Base Induction Charger
The successor to the worlds best-selling charging solution for Wii has arrived with Nyko's Charge Base IC. The Charge Base IC uses high end induction technology that allows for contact-less recharging meaning that silicone sleeves, Wii Motion Plus and other attachments do not need to be removed before placing in the Wii Remote or Wand in the dock.
