I love theses things, after getting snagged a lot while playing No More Heroes, this was the only way to play.
The remotes sync up very nicely and stays with the Wiimote during play.
The sync process is easy:
[] First sync the Wiimote with the Wii.
[] Attach the USB dongle to the Wiimote.
[] The USB dongle will begin to flash...
[] Then you press the flashing sync button on the wireless Playchuk.
That's all there is to it, after this quick setup the Playchuk will always instantly sync with that Wiimote after attaching the USB dongle.
Repeat the process to attach to another Wiimote.
It uses regular batteries, with seemed like a downside at first (instead of a USB charger), however I have been using the same set of standard batteries (included) for a long time. And if you use rechargeable batteries, it's a total win-win. I went ahead and bought two units.
I don't see why this wireless option wasn't a standard feature to begin with, after using them I am totally sold on them.
I am using the La Crosse Technology BC-9009 AlphaPower Battery Chargerfor the batteries, as it has extremely good reviews.

I bought this product to use with the new EA Active game (great game BTW). It worked for all of the two handed activities and for the running, but it didn't work for lunges and squats. I don't know if it was too big to fit right in the leg strap, or if it didn't make the connection strong enough. I also have a wired version from this company, and it has the same issues. Rating the Nunchuck excellent work. Unlike the other reviews in rating the WII this review is for the actual wireless Nunchuck.
Great product. The attachment for the controller does not allow for the rechargeable controller to sit in the base of the charging stand. Came with "AAA" batteries and that's aPlus as well.
Thumb controller is much higher that the Wii Nunchuck but that agreees with my big hands. Finger triggers are better shaped as well. Have yet to notice any loss or delay in responce time from punching or any other movement. Actully found it a little too sensative while running in "Active Sports" but the wife like that.
