From the 7yr olds to the teens (who we had a hard time prying away from) even the adults had fun playing with these things.
The graphics for the size screen seem ok enough though i would not allow the kids to play more than 20 min at a time before taking a break.
The selection of games seems to be good for everyone to find something they like to play.
The teens would all get to the same game and try to beat each others scores.

I previously posted a negative review of this unit, and would like to revise my comments (though they never showed up here anyway!). The VG Pocket is a perfect little stocking stuffer. Though cheap, the tiny color screen is actually pretty good. The old classic Frogger game is fun, and there are clone versions of many classics too (ie. there is a Galaga-like game, but not the exact Galaga game itself). My kids LOVE them.
Note: if your screen colors seem off, or the screen shrinks vertically, just replace the batteries. I originally thought I had a defective one, but then realized I'd accidentally installed a bad battery. Overall battery life is better than I expected.

I got this game player originally as a stocking stuffer but ended up giving it as a birthday present instead because I bought 2 more. The price was right on this item and the 25 game options was the BEST selling feature.
The games are easy to figure out for a 6 year old but not so much for a 36 year old apparently...*LOL!*
My daughter was thrilled and she's been playing it non-stop. The player is perfect for small hands and the buttons are easy to navigate. The screen is quite impressive for the size and with some added rechargeable batteries, it is the perfect gift for a child!!!
As a mother, I am quite impressed with myself for picking out a gift a that my daughter enjoys!!! She shares with her older sister and sometimes they will play two player games together. Which is ideal for the times we are out running errands.

I think the Frogger game is the best and it looks exactly like the game did all those years ago. It is fun watching your child enjoy the same games you did when you were her age... So, I highly recommend this item!
I bought two other game players and I now know they will be a big hit on Christmas! They are the perfect stocking stuffers!!!
