On this console, or add-on as it is. There isn't to many desent games. SEGA CD pretty much brought the sound and size of CDs to the Gensis. This did little to nothing for the graphics, and load time were unpleasant. This system is riddled with crappy digital effects, and games bent on no real animation.
So on this system there were a ton of ports from the Gensis. As far as I know this is the only non port worth the time to talk about it.
This is possibly the best Sonic game ever. Only Sonic two can really compete. The colors are slightly improved, and the sound is a bit better then a cartridge could supply. The load times wern't as bad as some of the other games either. Its pure classic Sonic. Simple as that. Its like you're playing an improved version of the original.
So if you have SEDA CD, you need this title. I own a few games for this title; and this is the best one. As far as I have heard this is the best game for the system. Simple as that. With only really this title no wonder this system died.
