Video Game Reviews of CarsCustomer Review: My 5 year old loves this game Summary: 4 StarsThis game is really a lot of fun if you are five or just like to drive a car really fast. My son thinks this is the greatest game ever. The levels are way too hard for him so my husband and have had to open up all of the races. He gets very frustrated because he has trouble winning races but he mostly likes to drive the car around Radiator Springs anyway. The Grand Prix races toward the end are really hard even for us so we decided to use the cheat codes. We suspect that entering the cheat codes erased all the progress we had made because the last time we played everything we had collected was gone. This game is probably too boring for someone serious about video games but younger kids will love it even though they may be limited by the difficulty of the game
Customer Review: My 5 yr old daughter likes it... Summary: 4 StarsWe liked the the movie so much we went out and bought the game.
Graphics are eye catching and the Wiimote makes for some interesting air time when moving over jumps.
My daughter likes it and that's all that matters...
Customer Review: Lots of fun for all ages. Summary: 4 StarsIt's a pretty easy game to play, all the controls are intuitive and easy to learn. There isn't much of a story line, you win an event and it unlocks others that you can play. The arcade mode gets a little boring after a while (I can only take so many left turns) but the road races are pretty cool because it changes things up and makes you be a little more creative to get around the corners with out crashing or going off course. Overall it's a pretty good game.
Customer Review: In my 4yr old's words, "Lame." Summary: 2 StarsThought the kids might like this. They did not. Pretty lame in most respects. Punctuates my convictions of the insidious nature in which mass merchandising in the entertainment industry churns out crap like this hoping to capitalize on branding. My kid also has a Cars lunchbox, underwear, remote car, toothbrush, the DVD, and of course - a soon to be Ebay'd Cars game for the Wii. I guess as long as suckers like me keep buying this for their kids, they'll keep making it. I need a tic tac...
Customer Review: Drive through Radiator Springs Summary: 4 StarsThis game is a lot of fun. The various courses you can drive through are both fun and challenging. The two set backs are the game is quite difficult for children to use and the instructions on how to unlock the mini games are poorly written. I bought the same game for the DS. Both titles are equally fun. With the DS, the tractor tipping is a blast as you blow into the DS to tilt the tractors. With the Wii you steer the Wii remote. If you have a child, once they get used to the Wii remote they will enjoy the game too. It will make them feel like they are driving through Radiator Springs. I just entered in a code to unlock all races and mini games. Once you enter in the code, the game goes from good to great. It is so much fun racing through any of the courses in the games, rather than being resticted to what you have unlocked. The graphics are Pixar quality.
