We bought these for our 8yr old son and he is not a huge fan. Although they do function as advertised, they are unwieldy and don't add anything to the game experience for him. They are probably a better option for the adult/teen gamer and not the under 12 crowd. In his words, "They slow me down, Mom!".

Thrustmaster Glow Sabre Duo Pack for use with the new Star Wars Force Unleashed game for Wii. Pack of (2) glowing laser sabres for easily inserts into your Wiimote. "Laser effect" with lighting system has (17) LEDS in each saber. Effect even works in full daylight! (2) Different Sabres included for duels. (1) sabre lights up in blue and (1) sabre lights up in red. Blades rounded in soft plastic and easily detachable for safe and easy storage.
