Video Game Reviews of Petz Rescue Wildlife VetCustomer Review: Kids can't play alone Summary: 2 StarsThis game requires reading. Games rarely disclose this on the box, but, as a parent of young children, it is one of the things I'm most interested in. I like to play games with my kids, but I want to PLAY, not just provide the voices that should be there anyway.
Also, the game is not designed very well. It has a lot of unnecessary running around trying to figure out where you are supposed to be.
Definitely one to rent or buy used instead of paying full price.
If your child can read on their own (4th grade level or above), add half a star to my rating.
Customer Review: Best game ever!! Summary: 5 StarsBoth my daughter, 7 yrs.old and sons, 9 & 11 yrs.old, love this game..easy to learn and use. They enjoyed it so much they bought another for friends as a gift. Highly recommend!!
Customer Review: Great Game Summary: 5 StarsI rented this game for my 10 year old daughter for 1 day and she got hooked on it.This is what she said. "Its a really fun game. You go all around the world to help sick and hurt animals. The only thing i don't like about this game is its timed. It may be a little hard for kids under 7, but if you're over 7 and you love animals, you'll love this game."
Customer Review: Fantastic game for little ones!! Summary: 5 StarsMy 3 year old son has a blast playing this game. My favorite part is that it gets him up and moving. When you have to swim in the game, the child has to make the motion of swimming. Or when you have to jump, the child is told to jump. Also, Diego can't 'die' in the game. If he walks to the edge of a cliff he just waves his arms around like he's going to fall, but can't actually fall. There's nothing the child can do to 'mess up' in the game. My son loves it and asks us everyday to play. It's now our leverage when we want him to behave - 'better eat all your vegetables or no Diego game today!' Works like a charm :)
Customer Review: Darn parasites... Summary: 1 StarsPerhaps this game works better on other game systems, but it's awful on Wii. My 6 year old daughter has a terrible time holding the remote still enough to satisfy the game. We've played it only a few times, because we get stuck at the FIRST adventure... we remove 3 parasites from a lemur (or some small animal) with tweezers, and it tells us there are more, and to hurry, you're running out of time!!!, and we've searched every spot on this animal with no success. I think the programming is off in this game.[...]
