Customer Review: Pretty fun, worth the price

I am a 30-year-old former gymnast, and lifetime gymnastics fan. I would probably have payed $50 to try this game - but I didn't have to! It's not perfect, but it's really fun, and rather addictive. It is all based on action prompts, so be sure you like that style of game.
One of my favorite parts of the game is the Routine Creator, where you get to decide what moves your gymnast will do in their routine. I thought this was just going to be an "extra" in the game, but you actually have to create routines of certain difficutly levels (and perform them) to advance. There are some odd repetitions that would not happen in a real gymnastics routine, but a lot of the moves look really good.
(One side note - they brought back the Perfect 10 for this game! Yahoo!!)
Some of the physics are off, especially on bars, and Shawn looks nothing like Shawn - they could have spent a little more time on that. I have seen a few glitches, and agree with the earlier review that there are some translation issues. I prefer using the balance board for the game, although it doesn't always respond as well as I'd like.
Bottom line: Not quite a Perfect Ten, but if you like gymnastics, you'll probably enjoy this game.
